We can assist education and training managers and practitioners through offering consultancy and practical help within key areas of their ongoing work.
We have experience of and can offer consultancy in the following areas:
- Training for trainers – principles and values, teaching skills, training methods, presentation
and facilitation skills, equality issues in training, evaluation
- Accreditation – preparing courses and training programmes to fit within either academic or vocational frameworks
- Mental health training – designing courses and other educational interventions to fit with
contemporary mental health policy and practice in areas such as social inclusion, recovery,
self-management,
service-user involvement, combating discrimination, spirituality and older people.
Currently we have consultancy contracts with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Middlesex University,
CAPITAL (Clients and Professionals in Training and Learning), Education Not Discrimination at Rethink, Pavilion Publishing, Together and Marlborough Family Education Centre.
